Lead Full Stack Developer

Protecht’s industry leading live event technology and consumer-facing protection products help provide ticketing platforms and organizers with control over inventory, additional lines of revenue, fraud prevention tools, and fan engagement through enhancements like an improved checkout flow and upgraded security.

What you will do:

• Lead a team of cross-functional engineers to design, implement, and support product development efforts, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative environment
• Have end-to-end ownership of software built by you and your team 
• Provide support for our planning and deployment to enable stability and predictability in our continued growth
• Address complex architectural problems with simple, intuitive designs to meet aggressive quality and ambitious goals
• Work closely with senior leaders and other stakeholders to provide status, iterative milestones, and help shape the future of our products

What we are looking for…

• The ability to take full ownership of a product or feature from concept to launch through seeking context, using analytical skills, and designing multiple solutions while considering time budget and cost
• Interested in being experimental, possessing a mindset of “fail fast, iterate faster”
• A driven attitude and bias toward automation.
• A strong background in distributed systems and system design in areas such as scaling rules, fault tolerance and federation
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques in Postgres and Redis
• A high level of understanding of modern web applications & technologies such as JavaScript, React, Python, Django, and AWS Lambda
• Previous experience working as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong, proactive communication skills to effectively partner with engineers and key stakeholders on projects 
• Adaptable, agile and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
• Possesses a hunger/passion for individual & team development - be responsible for following through, promoting positive attitudes, and flexible behaviors throughout the team.
