You’ll be part of the team that owns our infrastructure, runs it. You'll play integral role in the team that builds out a truly epic production environment, and development platforms that will be the envy of engineering teams everywhere. You'll be integral part of supporting our day-to-day activity and contribute to continually enhancing our automation and infrastructure setup. Your drive to learn kubernetes and automation around kubernetes ecosystem will play crucial role in your and our growth.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day activities of DevOps team
• Work with engineering teams to improve and enhance our processes and infrastructure
• Ensure 24x7 stability…all the 9’s!
• Establish amazing transparency of system performance through monitoring
• Be available as necessary to troubleshoot urgent issues
• Be approachable and transparent, wear a lot of hats, and always be aware of the big picture of making Appetize great

Requirements:

• 3+ years of overall professional engineering experience
• 2+ years of demonstrable systems experience in scaling web, mobile, data and systems platforms
• Working knowledge of technologies such as kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, Jenkins, LAMP, AWS, etc.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changes
• Passion for documentation and knowledge sharing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent listening skills
