The Role
This is your opportunity to play a key role in building the all-in-one cryptocurrency platform that helps users confidently manage their digital assets, and experience the new decentralized economy to the fullest. Gem’s Mobile Developer will love building robust and beautiful mobile applications, will live and breathe bleeding edge technology, and will have strong opinions about best practices.
What you’ll do
- Take charge and lead with your expertise - We are a team of 10 engineers and you will be our first senior iOS mobile developer, we will look to you for your experience and expertise
- Craft on features and areas of the mobile cryptocurrency app that will impact millions of users
- Write efficient, maintainable code for mobile phones
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to innovate on existing and new experiences
- Participate in all stages of development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release, and support
What you’ll need
- The experience and know-how of scaling a mobile application to a large user base
- Well versed in unit and functional testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Experience with Swift and React Native programming
- Understanding of application architecture and object-oriented design
- iOS production apps development experience with knowledge of best practices, APIs and libraries
- Understanding of performance testing concepts and toolsKnowledge of PKI fundamentals
- Applied Cryptography experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of mobile development experience
