Incoming Quality Technician

What You'll Do
- Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order
- Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications. Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit, inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications
- Verify production lots; quantities, P/N, and Rev accurate
- Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information/results in ERP system for traceability
- Assist with Kitting products as needed
- Physical ability to lift heavy boxes(50 lbs), stand for long periods at a time, and crouch, bend, and reach to perform their regular duties
- Some crossover duties with supporting WH inventory placement
- Validate the quality of purchased components/raw materials based on set acceptance criteria
- Visual inspection, Fit and function validation and dimensional inspection
Required Qualifications
- Receiving inspectors need a good eye for detail to spot inaccuracies and poor quality in all incoming and outgoing shipment items
- Must have experience with detail-oriented work
- Computer skills to enter information into digital systems and work with Microsoft programs and other software to complete daily job tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills to create inventory reports, direct shipment placement, and speak with other warehouse staff members
- Count shipment and inventory items and match numbers on purchase orders to incoming shipments, which requires basic math skills
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with inspection/validation processes/environment
- Experience with CMM and or Roamer arm inspection methodology/knowledge
- Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical drawings
- Ability to work on multiple projects within the same day
- Ability to follow directions, work independently and with minimal supervision
- Warehouse, receiving or shipping experience
