SendGrid is looking for a passionate, talented software engineer to join our Grad to Gridder Bootcamp. At the end of the program, you’ll be joining our Engineering team. As a Software Engineer I at SendGrid, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of the software systems that enable our customers’ communication platforms in a secure and scalable way. You will have the opportunity to utilize cutting edge technology to solve large scale problems. You will be part of a small, versatile and passionate team making a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn to work with a variety of technology (GoLang, Python, AWS, etc.)
  • Utilize Agile development methodologies for iterative planning and development
  • Solve problems and create customer value while gaining experience in software development

About You

  • You are currently enrolled as a student in your senior year or in a graduate program with plans to graduate in the Spring of 2018 with a degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience (including internships and advanced projects)
  • Solid CS fundamentals, with proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • You have distinguished yourself among your classmates as a top performer. You love applied learning in a fast-paced environment and are always interested in learning more.
  • You’re hungry yet humble and realize you don’t have all the answers and look to others for guidance, mentorship, and support. 
  • You share knowledge freely and help others succeed. You’re a strong team player and play your position well yet are always willing to scribble outside the lines to get things done.
  • You know how to listen and observe as well as speak when you have a strong point of view.
  • You have a passion for excellence and a bias towards action and execution.
