The Opportunity: 

As a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer, you will have the opportunity to incorporate text analysis and machine learning techniques into a large-scale processing pipeline.  Our goal is to transform raw medical data into actionable patient information. 

What You’ll Do: 

·             Build and maintain internal tooling for development and deployment of Machine Learning, rule-based, and statistical models. 

·             Develop data-driven insights and machine learning models to identify and extract facts from electronic medical records. 

·             Ensure that approaches are scalable and can be deployed across multiple clouds and hospitals. 

·             Work in a highly collaborative team of data scientists that work closely with numerous groups throughout D6, hospitals and life sciences companies to ensure the highest impact work is prioritized and delivered. 

Requirements: 

·             5+ years of experience in software engineering and ML.   

·             Multiple years of experience deploying ML and statistical models into real-world applications. 

·             Good communication skills in cross-functional teams. 

·             Strong programming skills in python, Java, or scala with a demonstrable understanding of object-oriented programming principles. 

·             Experience with distributed computing systems (AWS, Hadoop, Azure, Google Cloud) 

Preferred Background: 

·             M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or other STEM field 

·             Experience with Spark or Hadoop 

·             Experience with large enterprise integrations
