Who you are:

Currency is seeking a talented Fullstack Engineer to help us build and harden our revolutionary equipment financing marketplace platform. In this role, you will help us build a fault-tolerant enterprise platform capable of scaling, and matching financing requests to hundreds of potential lenders, allowing our clients to more effectively and quickly find financing for their equipment purchases. You will be a key part of our operations team. As a member of the Product and Engineering Team at Currency, you are part of a small, autonomous and world-class team on a mission to free up the flow of capital to businesses large and small, and allow those business owners to support and sustain their family members, their employees, and their employees’ families! Our team is leading the revolution to transform how businesses attain, manage, and disburse their capital.  We are working daily to build out a transaction-enablement platform that removes all unnecessary friction for the parties involved, including the business owner, the seller, the service provider, the lender, and the capital markets. Our work benefits our Society as a whole, allowing businesses access to capital that they would not have otherwise to start, maintain, or grow their business!

What you’ll do:

We are looking for an awesome full stack developer that has strong skills and experiences with engineering complex JavaScript applications and wants to be challenged to find out what exists at the next level. We are looking for developers that have evolved beyond simple implementations and created full-application architectures with a mindset of how the future of technology is evolving.

This is where your experience applying coding patterns, implementing and figuring out clean simplified logic yielding scalable, modularized results optimized for performance will contribute directly to the growth of a world-class product.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with MongoDB/Mongoose   
  • 3+ years experience in Full Stack development
  • React.js or other MVC framework (Angular, Ember, etc.)
  • Experience with Node and or Express
  • Experienced in Agile development cycle
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
