We’re looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join Honey. This person will focus on the website as a platform for all the features and content on the joinhoney.com website. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of web development best practices, cross browser/device compatibility, SEO, and style guide. You can expect to work with the product managers and engineers across all features and teams in addition to stakeholders from other departments such as Marketing, HR, and Legal. Your contribution will empower our developers to contribute to the website and impact how Honey grows its user base.

About you:

• Developing web applications in React or other SPA framework
• Experience with React (or similar eg. Angular), Express, or ES6 
• Experience using HTML & CSS
• Self-motivated to build and iterate in quick cycles
• Experience building user facing web applications
• Bonus points for GraphQL
• Bonus points for test automation and test-driven development experience

 In this role, you’ll:

• Build and improve our browser extension, website, and many of our other products
• Build out Honey landing, feature and SPA pages on joinhoney.com
• Experience building out webpages for all browsers and devices
• Build Unit tests for your code
• Communicate and solve problems with teammates
• Use best practices to build out reusable React components
• Optimization for SEO and User Experience
