We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer to work with a highly dynamic and fast paced prototyping team. The ideal candidate will design interfaces for a variety of highly interactive practical applications using design savvy and refined design sensibility.

Responsibilities:

• Create innovative user interfaces for a wide variety of applications & prototypes
• Serve as internal expert on JavaScript & related client-side web technology
• Establish best practices for JavaScript usage and adoption (including EcmaScript 6 & 7)
• Develop efficient, well-performing code that is robust and maintainable
• Work with cutting edge & prototype hardware technology
• Design and architect APIs for code modules to be reused
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of front-end web development/programming experience
• Expert level JavaScript language mastery
• Experience working with Python, C, Ruby, etc.
• Experience with multiple frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React, Backbone, Node).
• Works well on a team using modern software development practices (git, agile, etc).
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development and debugging in a mixed-platform and embedded environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a highly creative development team working on multiple development projects with quick turnaround times

Preferred:

• User interface and design experience
• Cross-platform / Embedded / mobile device development experience
• Mobile software development experience (Android)
