As a Senior Software Engineer at Heal, you will have the opportunity to conceptualize, design, build, test and own software systems using cutting edge technologies . You will work in an agile environment in which your code reaches customers in a matter of hours.

What you’ll do:

• As a member of a team, leverage your knowledge of object-oriented design to conceptualize, design, build test and software in a distributed computing environment and for enterprise-wide systems
• Utilize your knowledge of software engineering best practices, and Agile software development to develop software, conduct code reviews, manage source code, build processes, participate in testing, and help develop our technology operations
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Mentor junior software engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

Skills you’ll need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience developing front-end solutions for web and mobile applications
• 4+ years professional experience in software development using technologies such as Java, Javascript, CSS.
• 2+ years of development experience in React or similar JavaScript frameworks (JQuery UI, Node.js, AngularJS)
• 2+ years of Cross Platform Mobile Application development (Android, iOS) expertise.
• Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
• Good knowledge in the areas of UI design and UX best practices.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and scalable design in a high transaction, production environment
