The Perception team at Anduril is developing software at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and sensor fusion. You are well-prepared for this role since you’ve spent a few years writing C++ code in a production environment and have experienced the joys (and frustrations) of manipulating directly attached devices. Your attention to detail is critical to your success; you will quickly become an expert on in-the-weeds idiosyncrasies of device APIs and sensor behavior. You own your integration code from early prototype through deployment in a way that doesn't mean you're the only one that can ever own it. Full cycle PCB design including collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug and integration with the system. Development of air vehicle avionics systems (flight controls, sensors, payload interfaces, power management, and networking). Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within the vehicle. Provide support and collaborate within other air vehicle subsystem development constraints. Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing for avionics system components. Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.

Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order. Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications. Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit, inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications. Verify production lots; quantities, P/N, and Rev accurate. Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information/results in ERP system for traceability. Assist with Kitting products as needed. Physical ability to lift heavy boxes(50 lbs), stand for long periods at a time, and crouch, bend, and reach to perform their regular duties. Some crossover duties with supporting WH inventory placement. Validate the quality of purchased components/raw materials based on set acceptance criteria. Visual inspection, Fit and function validation and dimensional inspection.

As a Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineer, under minimal supervision, you will determine and develop various approaches to achieve T&E goals and help guide the completion of test activities. This position will initially act as primary test engineer for component qualification, aircraft acceptance and flight operations. Test duties include system level T&E of hardware and software with emphasis placed on resource planning, conducting ground and flight testing, process improvement/development and participating in technical test reviews.
