Experienced System Administrator, Huntington Beach, CA

The Tactical Systems team is seeking a Experienced System Administrator to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA by providing engineering development, sustainment, operations, and maintenance for Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) missions and users.  Tactical Systems is part of the Missions Operations business that integrates sensors, payloads and intelligence to provide mission support and vertical content for our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture. Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems. Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems. Administers users’ system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements. Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.
• Configuration and maintenance of system baselines to maintain compliance with applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Remote troubleshooting of deployed systems.
• System administration and environment set-up utilizing Puppet, scripting (Pearl / Python), Linux & Windows.

This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) that has been successfully completed within the last 5 years. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years’ experience with Linux Systems Administration
• 3+ years’ experience with Windows Systems Administration
• 3+ years’ experience with computing administration to include managing Microsoft active directory design, deploy and operational support
• 3+ years’ experience in systems deployment and logistics/sustainment processes
• 3+ years’ experience with VMware products, including vSphere, vCenter, vCAC, vCOps, and vCO

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• SCI
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience with Containers
• COTS Integration
• JavaScript
• MogoDB Administration
• C++
• Perl

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
