Position Overview:

The Boeing Company is seeking a Experienced Electrical & Electronics Technical Design Engineer to be located in El Segundo, CA. As part of Boeing's Space & Missile Systems division, Satellite Systems manages the company's major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense and other missions. Satellite Systems oversees the design, development, manufacture, integration and testing of satellites.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serves as a contributor to and administrator of aerospace electronic unit development processes, tools and engineering documentation.
• Proposes innovative solutions for emergent technical, risk and engineering workflow issues.
• Uses design and configuration management tools to audit, document and/or maintain configuration control of development processes, design tools and electronics facilities.
• Facilitates and partners with Supplier Management to maintain flow of developmental electronics components.
• Facilitates coordination of independent technical expertise and staffing of projects to ensure productivity and product quality.
• Facilitates technical reviews.

This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Associate's degree or higher in a related technical discipline.
• One (1) or more years of experience using Microsoft office products.
• One (1) or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel(formulas, charts, building worksheets).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• RF Amplifier knowledge, basic designing, tuning and testing
• Knowledge of general Lab Equipment(Analyzers, generators, Oscilloscopes, temperature chambers)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
