The Enterprise DevSecOps team manages our efforts to stand up new DevSecOps tooling in the Cloud. This initiative represents the current and future direction for Enterprise software development.The selected manager will oversee a team of professionals working closely with our Cyber Systems and Enterprise Software Engineering teams to develop, deploy, administer and maintain this tool chain and network while establishing and coordinating future across the Boeing Enterprise. We seek candidates who have experience with teams performing DevSecOps, software development and system automation.As a member of the Enterprise DevSecOps team, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from idea creation and development, all the way through to maintenance and support of our delivery system. This position will place you in roles where you have the opportunity to make an impact on the results of software development teams across our company.Position Responsibilities:

  • Providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, strategic initiatives, products, add-ons, and processes
  • Collaborating closely with our Software Engineering and cybersecurity colleagues to ensure cost-effective, timely, and secure deployment of the environment and its tools
  • Interfacing with programs across the enterprise in the planning and deployment of our new Enterprise DevSecOps tool chains and components
  • Developing and executing budget and staffing plans for the team
  • Managing, developing, and motivating employees while modeling the Boeing Behaviors

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start may be required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in leading on team on strategies and roadmaps
  • 3+ Years of experience with Agile and or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
  • Experience in leading large cross organizational transformation programs or DoD Programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years with software development tool chain leadership
  • Able to create and contribute to the DevSecOps vision and strategic directions
  • Working knowledge of Cloud development environments
  • Understanding of secure software development methodologies and Security First mindset
  • Communication and People Skills: Ability to engage with senior leadership, technical team members, and varied Boeing business and external stakeholders. Ability to tie daily work to larger strategic direction.
  • Performance Management: Ability to identify the right skills for the right projects, experience coaching and mentoring peers and/or reports to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong communication skills and a self-starter that can thrive in a distributed remote work environment
  • Experience managing delivery services in isolated networks with specialized data handling requirements

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
