About This Role

The Engineering Technician will work as part of the Design Engineering team to support the prototyping, manufacturing, and testing of new electro-mechanical designs and concepts.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the manufacturing and testing of electro-mechanical assemblies
• Perform incoming inspections / testing of equipment assembled by third party vendors
• Help with the packing of systems for shipment
• Offer ideas for improved ease of manufacturing, improved performance and increased reliability
• Help performance validation testing for new designs
• Assist in the creation of assembly and test documentation
• Help in the service and repair of in-house test equipment
• Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Apeel manufacturing / warehouse space

What You Bring

• Engineering degree, or equivalent level of knowledge with at least 5 years of experience working in an engineering assembly environment
• Hands-on experience with the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competence with Microsoft Office and Google Applications
• Dedicated team player
• Flexible and willing to take on varied tasks, embodies the phrase “no job too big or too small”
• Experience working with high voltage / high power, desired
