About The Role
With tens of millions of users, hundreds of employees, and an expanding global presence, our systems’ availability is key to ensuring the best possible experience on Tinder’s Platform. As the Engineering Manager, Resiliency you and your team will have the opportunity to build an infrastructure platform that can meet the scaling and stability requirements for our cloud sites.
What You’ll Do
We will leverage your previous experience as a people manager to lead and manage a team of Site Reliability, Network, and Software Engineers. This team is responsible for the overall resiliency and health of the core infrastructure, observability, and networking platforms serving our internal engineers and customers alike.
What You’ll Need
- 6+ years of experience as a Systems, Network, or Software Engineer
- 2+ years of technical and management leadership
- Ability to write code in one of the following languages: Python, Golang, or Java
- Significant understanding and proficiency with Linux and TCP/IP fundamentals
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, AWS, and/or Envoy is a plus, but not required
