About The Role

Our platform handles billions of events a day, terabytes of data, and millions of network requests with frequent code deployments. You and your team will have the opportunity to manage Tinder's Global Platform and Business.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of infrastructure engineers
• Provide daily guidance, mentorship, and coaching to your team
• Be responsible for the technical support of the Tinder Platform and global business, including Tinder’s engineering teams
• Develop effective partnerships within your team and other teams at Tinder

What You'll Need

• 6+ years of experience as a Systems or DevOps Engineer
• 2+ years of technical and management leadership
• Experience in a support role, triaging and responding to ad hoc requests of varying urgency
• Demonstrated history of embracing Infrastructure as Code
• Ability to script in one of the following languages: Bash, Python, Ruby
• Ability to read code in one of the following languages: Golang, Java
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, AWS, and/or Jenkins is a plus, but not required

The Operations teams are a medium sized team of infrastructure engineers. They are singularly focused on improving the productivity of Tinder’s business. Their ongoing, proactive support has empowered our global business to iterate more rapidly than ever.
