We are currently searching for an experienced DevOps Engineer. This is a full-time position (W2 employee) and you will have the opportunity to work at a very notable and respectful entertainment company. This role will be part of a Production Technology Architecture team, focused on supporting a critical Media workflow orchestration application that manages the creation and delivery of content for a major entertainment company.  In this role, you will be responsible for day to day activities related to supporting this critical application and its infrastructure.  You must have experience managing AWS infrastructure and experience with Kubernetes, EKS or the Media/Entertainment industry would also be a big plus.

 

Job Requirements:

* Experience as DevOps Engineer (minimum 3-4 years)

* Prior experience working with and setting up cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS or Azure is required (minimum 3-4 years). Certification is a plus

* Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS and/or OpenShift is desired

* Experience supporting release pipelines with tools like Jenkins required.  Building pipelines would be a huge plus

* Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or other IaaS solutions strongly preferred

* Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Chef or Ansible is required.

* Experience working on Infrastructure projects such as data center migrations, server upgrades, network upgrades, etc. required

* Experience with JIRA Service Desk is desired

* Ability to work independently, without much supervision, and ensure project goals are met

* Prior experience consulting is strongly desired

* Prior experience working in media/entertainment preferred

* Excellent communication skills – written and oral
