Job Description:

You will be working with a team of DevOps engineers planning, building, and maintaining a complex service-oriented architecture, running in our private cloud and on our own hardware running Joyent’s Triton DataCenter. The core of our automation is built around open source tools, specifically Saltstack, Consul, Vault and Gitlab.

We want the operator who can build a solution, demonstrate its viability, and get that code integrated with high velocity and accuracy. We are very careful about time management and we know that top performance means focused, directed effort. Distractions in the form of shifting priorities are a no-go at Hart.

You will have a large degree of control over the direction you decide to take when solving a given problem, and you’ll have any support you need to make things happen. Responsibility is distributed and individuals are absolutely held responsible for their choices. Deadlines and artificial pressure are low but the culture is one that rewards appropriate effort. We take burnout and overexertion very seriously but understand this is a high-paced environment.

Finally, Ops at Hart has the sole focus of serving the needs of some very talented development teams. Remembering that our customers are our teammates on the data and platform teams keeps us aligned with the company’s needs. When Ops does our job well, we enable the other teams to meet their goals more quickly, ultimately driving company success.

Help us improve how patients interact with the healthcare industry as a whole and make healthcare actionable.
