Join our Configuration Team as a Configuration Analyst for our online expense reporting and invoice management service! As a part of the Configuration team, you will become experts in knowing how Chrome River applications are used to meet our customers' business requirements. You'll use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams to help resolve issues, define business rules, and test configurations. You'll rely on your background in software development, financial applications, and interface development to help our customers through the implementation process. If you thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, we'd like to speak with you!

What You'll Do

  • Develop customer configurations and business rules using Java
  • Test business work flows and software applications
  • Collaborate with project managers and configuration analysts to identify the optimal solution for a customer’s requirements
  • Use case tracking systems to track and manage cases
  • Work with QA and engineering teams to analyze and troubleshoot issues in multiple environments

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to understand and write SQL queries
  • Excellent Java skills
  • Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills – must have experience working with both technical teams and business users
  • Team player who can work under moderate supervision
  • Creative problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and be able to shift focus easily with changing priorities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting software applications
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level financial applications
  • Experience with Groovy or Python
