What You'll Do
As our Cloud Security Engineer, you will work as part of a passionate Core Infrastructure team to ensure every area of our datacenter and cloud networks are dutifully protected. You will wear many hats as systems, network and cloud security practitioner, utilizing tools and techniques to ensure our security posture is a model of defense-in-depth. Specifically, you will:

• Drive security improvements in the cloud, datacenter and office by analyzing the environment against CIS controls, audit requirements, vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and threat intelligence
• Serves as an Information Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) by maintaining knowledge of industry-recognized security technologies and concepts; actively engage in audits to ensure our compliance is accurate and meaningful
• Lead incident response efforts and create or enhance process, policies and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures, and infrastructure security
• Develop and maintain cloud, datacenter and office infrastructure security design and documentation.
• Develop and maintain network, system and application security monitoring and utilize that in an actionable manner: alerting and automation (scaling)

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Network, Systems and/or Security Engineer or equivalent role - must have experience with security and analytics tools from SAST to SIEM
• Expert technical knowledge in system and network security, authentication/authorization protocols, and cryptography. Hands-on experience in at least two of the above
• Deep experience in securing Windows and Linux, including CIS and STIG frameworks
• Expertise in cloud security, covering common standards and practices in AWS and Azure
• Experience using a scripting language such as Perl, PowerShell or Python
• An ability to analyze a platform and recommend changes, remediate issues, and automate
