Job Description
We are hiring a Backend Developer to help transform the digital lending space. We believe that lending and borrowing money should be easy, fulfilling, and fun. You’ll work closely with our head of product, engineers, and CEO to develop thoughtful experiences to facilitate financial transactions between peers. We’re a scrappy group, driven by the desire to change peer to peer lending through user-focused design. At our company’s stage, the impact you can have is huge.
SoLo is backed by TechStars and some of the top VCs. This is a full-time position in Los Angeles. We also follow agile based development, continuous integration, and we use Git.
WHAT ARE LOOKING FOR:
* Strong alignment with our engineering culture
* Proven track record building high quality mobile applications, preferably B2C products
* Fluency with Node.js
* Write Node.js API services to connect frontend code
* Participate in code review
* Work closely with frontend and the design team
TECH REQUIREMENTS
* At least 3+ years of experience in backend development
* Experience with Node
* Experience with AWS services
* Experience with NoSQL
* You love startups and working in the startup culture
* BS in Computer science or equivalent
