THE ROLE:

As the Director, Digital Acquisition, you are an intellectually curious self-starter who will be responsible for managing paid marketing activity across Facebook and other social ad platforms that allow sophisticated audience targeting. You relish the opportunity to work directly on large-scale campaigns within these exciting channels against the backdrop of a high growth company that was bootstrapped to over $150 million in revenue and continues to expand aggressively across products and geographies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Allocate Loot Crate's Total Marketing Budget across all product lines for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social channels
  • Execute, manage and improve upon Loot Crate's existing tactics & strategies for acquiring new customers and subscriptions via these paid social channels
  • Hands-on execution, including: creating new campaigns / ad sets / ads using various web-based ad platforms, conceiving strategies to build upon best practices and market trends, monitoring performance, updating bids, selecting audiences, & analyzing results
  • Work with Loot Crate's Creative team to develop creative ad content that syncs with audience targeting
  • Establish marketing budgets for future months, working with leaders on Loot Crate's Marketing team, as well as the Finance & Accounting team
  • Develop & manage a strong support team
  • WHAT DEFINES SUCCESS:

  • Improving upon and developing new tactics & strategies for acquiring customers and subscriptions via paid social channels
  • Managing and allocating the team's paid social marketing budget in a way that continually improves upon ROI metrics across the board
  • Contributing to best practices around data-driven decision-making, modeling, and testing (A/B, multivariate)
  • Building and mentoring a team
  • QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance or related fields; MBA preferred
    • 5+ years professional experience in B2C digital marketing, management consulting, consumer product goods, and/or retail ecommerce
    • Applied quantitative experience, including excellent understanding of investment / finance / economic concepts like the trade-off between risk & return, diminishing returns, levers impacting ROI, and key metrics for subscription businesses such as Customer Lifetime Value, Churn, & cohort analyses
    • Proven results in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to communicate effectively across different departments
