Heartbeat is looking for a Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for translating the Heartbeat brand across a TON of different mediums: print, web, emails, digital ads, decks, collateral, and working with our head of product on our 3 different applications. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for simple, beautiful design that communicates our brand vision, excites our audiences (consumers & brands). The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable engaging with different members of the team and is excited to apply their skills to all areas of the business. 

This is the perfect role for a designer who is looking for an opportunity to grow into a creative director or product lead but has not had the opportunity to get the type of exposure, training, or experience needed in their past roles.

In this role you will: 

• Work with the CEO, CTO, & Head of Product to assist with designing user interfaces used by our ambassadors & brands  
• Work with our content team to develop marketing communication infographics, collateral, and the website to articulate our value proposition as the business grows/evolves
• Work with our Customer Success & Sales team to design customer & ambassador communications (email, decks, wrap reports)
• Work with & interview our customers & ambassador user groups to gather feedback and improve our products
• Participate in strategy sessions & assist in brainstorming key features 
• Utilize data from user testing, consumer insights and Google analytics to iterate design and improve our digital product.

We are looking for: 

• 4+ years of design experience across multiple disciplines 
• Portfolio of work w/ UI 
• Portfolio of work in Visual Design 
• Strong understanding of mobile friendly design
• Strong written & verbal communication skills 
• Thorough understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy.
• Experience using design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Zeplin, Principle.
