The Prodege creative team is a full service in-house design studio providing product design experiences & creative services that delight users for all of our Prodege brands.  The Visual Designer will create high-quality visual designs in the form of promotional banners, advertising, sales collateral both online and offline —from concept to execution—across many platforms.  They will also ongoingly prepare production-ready assets for various projects. 

Our ideal candidate should have a general understanding of online advertising and e-mail marketing concepts, familiarity with basic UX design principals, and an energetic & positive attitude.

Responsibilities: 

• General understanding of online advertising and e-mail marketing concepts, familiarity with interactive multimedia authoring tools and an energetic, positive attitude.

• Design one or more of Swagbucks’ consumer facing products.

• Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively.

• Create and/or edit visual content related to Web and e-mail campaigns, including banners, charts and graphics; PowerPoint decks for external pitches and internal communications; and print collateral for various Prodege companies.

• Present the user interface visually so information is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to find.

• Market and promote products and features so users understand what they're getting and what the benefits are.

• Ability to fulfill large volumes of art requests with tight deadlines.

Skills and Experience required:

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• 2+ years designing web-based products for a consumer-oriented website.

• Ability to produce or re-create illustrations, logos, and similar items in vector or raster-based programs depending upon the needs of the project.

• Knowledge of interaction design basics a plus.

• Fundamental knowledge of color theory, typography, page layout and design.

• Proficient in the following: Mac OS X, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).

• Ability to be flexible within the job to ensure the best processes/systems for smooth completion of all projects.

• Able to work well under pressure and deadlines. Available to work occasional after-hours in order to meet deadlines.

• Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.

• Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.

• Digital illustration skills a plus.
