As our UX Researcher, you are responsible for conducting research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. You will be extracting data using a variety of methods including usability studies, user research, competitive research, interviews, surveys and more. You'll compile and synthesize the data collected in order to create client-facing presentations or documentation that will guide the direction of the website design or design element in question.
The UX Researcher will be responsible for:
- Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of user research at various stages of the design process.
- Generating insights and delivering compelling, written and visual presentations on your findings that will shape how we move forward with website design.
- Collecting and analyzing user behavior through web metrics, heatmaps, interviews, prototype testing, card sorting, usability testing and surveys.
- Creating personas, research reports, case studies, affinity maps, user flows, task analysis, competitive analysis, journey maps, and more to help understand user behavior.
- Collaborating directly with clients, agency partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the continuity and accuracy of all data.
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of UX related work experience.
- Knowledgeable in user research methodologies.
- Must have experience in researching, compiling and reporting on user data & trends.
- Must have experience curating surveys, questionnaires & polls.
- Must have experience conducting interviews and moderating usability tests.
- Strong desire to quickly externalize and test your findings.
- Must be detail-oriented and be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Must be proficient with Google Docs, and Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Marcos, V-lookups) and PowerPoint for visually compelling presentation creations.
