Job Description

As a UX Designer 2 at Nordstrom Rack, you’ll help shape digital experiences that seamlessly guide our customer through elegant end-to-end experiences. Based in LA, you’ll be at the forefront on User Experience Innovation and collaborate with writers, researchers and Product Managers to improve every aspect of our customers purchase and post purchase journey in desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

A day in the life…

• Participate in the end to end product design process for desktop, tablet, and mobile device projects
• Use your deep understanding of user centered design to create game-changing features and innovative interactions that support Nordstrom’s outstanding customer service
• Collaborate with UX writers, UX designers, UX researchers, product managers, and develop positive relationships
• Define problems and design comprehensive solutions that effortlessly guide our customers

You own this if you have…

• 3-4 years of experience in UX/UI design
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with outstanding academic performance
• A deep understanding of UX design tools and their capabilities.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates not only your stellar designs, but tells the story of your approach to problem-solving and your design process
• Strong organization, attention to details and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
