About Output

Output is one of the most creative and influential music-making software companies in the world. The likes of Kendrick Lamar, Bjork, Rihanna, Imagine Dragons, Justin Timberlake, Nine Inch Nails and many more use our software to write music as well as hit shows and films like Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, and Black Panther.  Output’s products are heavily focused on design and we are looking for someone that can help us create incredible tools.

The Role

You’ll be turning low fidelity mockups and wireframes into functional, beautiful, and delightful product experiences that our users can’t wait to open and use to create their next big hit. You’ll conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. This work isn't done in a vacuum however, as there will be plenty of crossover and collaboration with UX design, engineering, marketing design, and other departments.

When there aren't projects in the visual design phase, you'll also take part in more the strategic and structural levels of product design. This work could entail mocking up ideas, contributing to design systems, cleaning up existing designs, or taking on challenges from earlier stages of product ideation.

The Ideal Candidate

You love UI and digital design. Your superpower is the ability to take low fidelity designs, wireframes, and mockups and turn them into stunningly beautiful interfaces. You work well with others, enjoy collaboration, and have the fortitude to be wrong on your way to right.

You also have experience making music yourself which allows you to empathize with music makers when bringing these ideas to life.
