15 Seconds of Fame (15SOF) is one of the fastest-growing and most innovative offerings in live events and crowd engagement. The first of its kind, our product enables fans to capture and keep official footage of their appearances on television and video board at live events.  Named“Best in Mobile Fan Experience” at the 2018 Sports Business Awards, 15SOF combines cutting-edge technology with unique sports league and team partnership to create the ultimate fan experience.

Senior UX Designer

Requirements:

• You’re an expert at creatively solving use flow and presentation problems through design, simplifying complexity.

• You are an out-of-the-box thinker with understanding of issues the users encounter and how much effort required to complete action by the user.

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with a background in wireframing, information architecture, user experience and UI design and minimum 2+ years of mobile UX prototyping.

• Experience designing and conducting user research, including contextual inquiry and usability testing.

• An outstanding portfolio that demonstrates your approach to projects, quality thought, storytelling, and an ability to bring your ideas to life.

• Ability and willingness to sketch/use a whiteboard in real-time development efforts.

• Ability to understand how to apply business strategy and branding issues with user needs and technological constraints.

• Ability to work well with users and internal technology and product teams to articulate problems and communicate persuasively.

• Experience working in small collaborative teams.

• Familiarity with technical issues and ability to work constructively with engineering teams.

• Mastery of design and prototyping software (e.g., Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision tools).

• Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs and consumer expectations. Ability to keep the team informed about current and emerging UX/UI trends.

• Experience leading user research or usability studies is a plus.

• Degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop UX/IA process flows, sketches, scenarios, personas, wireframes and navigation models for mobile apps to define functionality and user behavior.

• Work in close collaboration with product manager and development team to develop an initial strategy—addressing product, brand, marketing, content, and overall user experience.

• Conduct user research including contextual interviews and usability testing, and present findings to stakeholders.

• Create internal and external deliverables including conceptual diagrams, site maps, interaction flows, storyboards, schematics/wireframes, and detailed functional specifications.

• Work iteratively; develop ideas from sketches to prototypes.

• Collaborate with visual designers, mobile developers, backend engineers, and project managers to generate superb design work.
