The Senior UX/UI Designer will have the opportunity to be a key contributor of the digital user experience of the Bouqs Core Ecommerce experience. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with the product team and stakeholders to identify key design opportunities within the digital experience. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of data-driven design and pixel perfect execution.

In 30 days, you will:

• Hit the ground running. You’ll build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and work with each to deeply understand The Bouqs vision.
• Work with the team to gain a complete understanding of past and current customer research and current design projects.
• Become familiar with our customer research tools including session recordings, click maps, scroll maps and usability testing platforms.
• Gain a complete understanding of customer flows.
• Work with product team to get familiar with site behavior metrics including conversion rate, funnel metrics and cancellation rates. 

In 60 days, you will:

• Understand the customer base and how your work impacts the wider Bouqs Co. ecosystem.
• Deliver your first concepts based on defined requirements.
• Contribute to weekly product syncs with wireframes, research and new ideas.
• Become familiar with the design roadmap milestones and get comfortable owning deadlines.
• Take ownership of UX learning library and design system

In 90 days, you will:

• Take ownership of style guide
• Consistently deliver thoughtful designs based on short and long-term goals
• Help refine the delivery schedule for research and designs 
• Mentor other designers with your expertise

In 6 months, you will:

• Plan, design, and deliver designs for multi-feature projects that are strategic, customer-focused, simple and intuitive 
• Become known as an enthusiastic leader and subject matter expert, demonstrating your ability to seek out new ideas, solve problems quickly, and collaborate with teams across The Bouqs
• Define and champion the long-term vision of UX/UI design of the ecommerce experience.

Within 1 year, you will:

• Take on additional responsibilities after designing and collaborating on several new products and features successfully.
• Expand your role to other business units in the company
• Become a people manager and lead of other designers.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in basic design principals (typography, composition, scale, color theory, etc.) and a deep understanding of how those principles work together
• Clear and concise in verbal and written communication and skilled in giving and receiving constructive feedback 
• Understanding of accessibility standards 
• 4-6 years relevant experience. Experience in DTC and/or subscription commerce a plus
