Senior Graphic Designer

Talespin is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing & Communications team. In this role, you will support our Marketing team to craft high quality, compelling marketing and sales materials in a variety of media, including the Talespin website, sales decks, print collateral, product marketing materials, and social media assets. The right person for this role combines a world-class design sensibility and skills, an ambitious attitude, and a passion for enterprise XR technology (virtual, mixed and augmented reality) solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the creative development of design projects involving the development of design templates and systems
- Work collaboratively with other designers and project managers to craft innovative, compelling sales and marketing materials
- Work independently to develop solutions that align with strategic briefs
- Assist all levels of the design team in the creative development of their assignments
- Work with internal and external teams as a Creative Partner
- Set and be the steward of Talespin brand guidelines and best practices
- Raise the bar for Talespin Design fundamentals including: Layout, Typography and Color
- Coordinate print production processes from pre-press through final execution
- Support development of creative assets for communication channels: events, emails, social media channels, presentation decks, internal video projects, sales and marketing materials, and more
- Swiftly and skillfully design high-end, branded sales pitch decks and restyle existing decks
- Oversee the organization of art assets and design files
- Collaborate with the broader internal design and product teams, to build assets and visuals that deliver and support key messages to clients
- Identify how to best problem solve or tell a story through visual communication
- Manage internal timelines and ensure work is delivered on time
- Represent and guide the creative during live action or photography production
Education and Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience
- Creativity, passion and eye for pixel-perfect design
- Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, Google Slides, Photoshop and Keynote. Working knowledge of After Effects is a plus
- An eye and understanding of brand standards and how to execute designs against them
- Understanding of front-end web and mobile U.I. design, of user interface principles, and working knowledge of self-publishing platforms (Webflow, Mailchimp)
- Personal organization mindset to see projects through from start to finish; and ability to deliver projects on time
- Experience working with design vendors, from printers to digital developers
- Reciprocal attitude and openness to give and receive feedback
- Background in B2B marketing a plus
- Passion for virtual reality and augmented reality technology a plus
- Digital portfolio with relevant work examples as both an individual and team lead
- Experience working with a variety of design mediums including social media and digital design.
- Experience working with design vendors, from printers to digital developers
- Experience organizing, and media-managing across different applications
- Advanced skills in Concept Development, pitching graphic work, and executing unique and original work that solves Marketing challenges
- Strong skills in compositing. Key art experience is a plus.
- Ability to project manage through design and creative efforts on large-scale projects from kickoff to completion
