About the Role
The Product Designer we are looking for is a creative and effective problem solver. They should have strong visual design skills and be empathetic towards their end-user. They should be able to communicate well across the company to present and defend their concepts. While working on conceptualizing user flows, they will maintain the Sidecar Health design system, transform wireframes into high fidelity artifacts to hand-off to engineering, and validate the quality of work launched.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Execute all product design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Help conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrable product design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
- Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping a plus
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
