SoLo Funds is a small but mighty team looking to tackle the payday lending industry through financial collaboration. We’ve built a marketplace to connect lenders and borrowers to get access to funds they need on their own terms. As one of the country’s fastest growing fintech companies, we have over 200,000 downloads and facilitated over $4M in loans with our iOS app alone.

We are looking for a designer to lead all aspects of design across SoLo’s product, marketing, and brand. You are expected to have experience launching and iterating upon apps on the App Store, working with collaborative engineering and product teams, and communicating with stakeholders across the company. This position reports to the Chief Product Officer and will play a major role in defining what SoLo looks like with the ability to build upon our existing design system. Our team is currently fully remote, but LA presence is ideal.

About You
4-6 years product design experience on consumer-facing products
Portfolio demonstrating experience launching and iterating on mobile products in the App Store
Exceptional communication skills
Experience owning design across the entire design process
A focus on user testing and ensuring you’re building the right thing
Ability to rapidly iterate on design solutions
Experience designing for marketing initiatives across social media and other mediums
Strong organizational skills
Ability to self-direct and work in an environment
Fluent in modern design tools (Sketch, Principle, Invision, etc)
Passion for / experience designing in FinTech
