Responsibilities

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. TikTok has global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo. We're looking for passionate product designers to join the fast growing team at TikTok in Los Angeles, CA. Working with a cross-functional team, you'll lead and own product features to help evolve and drive impact for TikTok globally. - Work with cross functional teams including product managers, researchers, UX writers, and engineers to envision and execute impactful product experiences globally. - Lead multiple projects for design from strategy to launch, ensuring we're shipping meaningful and quality experiences. - Provide multiple solutions based on user needs, business goals, and technical constraints for any given project. - Create end-to-end user flows, both low and high fidelity, and prototypes as needed. - Review product releases qualitatively and through data, pre and post launch to ensure high quality experiences are reaching millions of TikTok users. - Actively contribute and maintain the UI kit and style guides. - Lead design workshops and sprints with cross-functional teams to explore innovative solutions for problems and opportunities identified through research and data.

Qualifications

- 3+ years designing UX for consumer-facing products across mobile, web, TV, preferably in the content creation or consumption space. - Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts. - Experience working with multiple stakeholders across the org. - Great communication skills to be able to articulate your concepts, vision and decision-making. - Strong willingness to learn and adapt to a fast growing environment. - Strong eye for detail. - Great organizational skills. - Experience with a/b testing and a data driven practice. - Ability to welcome all feedback and be patient. - Ability to fit within a startup culture which celebrates efficiency and driving impact. - Not afraid to fail but is driven by success. - At times, work efficiently under high levels of pressure and demanding timelines. - Knowledge of working with Figma, Sketch, Flinto, Adobe Creative Suite, and OSX, iOS & Android. - Academic foundation is product design and HCI (nice to have). - A passion and enthusiasm for TikTok and its community!
