Job Purpose

The PCB Designer is responsible for the PCB layout in Altium Designer supporting the electrical design group. The role will work closely with the electrical and mechanical engineering as well as procurement teams to deliver all products.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple PCB designs in Altium Designer
  • Evaluate final design for manufacturability (DFM) in CAM350
  • Create components and footprints
  • Manage component library
  • Version control in subversion
  • Interface with PCB and PCBA vendors
  • Control output files in a secure cloud system

Qualifications:

  • Experience with power converters, ethernet, impedance control, fine pitch BGA, multi-row connectors
  • Experience with modern design techniques and manufacturing capabilities for automotive
  • 10+ years of experience preferred
