Who we are

Albert is a new type of financial service that uses powerful technology to automate your finances, with a team of human experts to guide you. Albert saves and invests automatically for you, helps you avoid overdrafts, finds savings you’re missing, identifies bills you’re overpaying, and much more. Text Albert a financial question, and our geniuses won’t just offer guidance — they’ll help you take action.

We're an LA-based startup with a proven business model, backed by top-tier institutional investors and with nearly 6 million users who have trusted Albert to help them achieve their financial goals. We're on a mission to democratize money management through our simple, beautifully designed product, and we're looking for thoughtful, talented people to join us on our journey.

About the role

We’re looking for a skilled designer to support our advertising, content marketing, and brand building efforts. You will work closely with the marketing design and ad operations teams to develop engaging, original creative that echoes and extends Albert’s brand.

On an average day, the marketing designer will analyze existing ad creatives, create ads for use across multiple paid channels, film and produce content for the ad library, collaborate with other designers, writers, producers and acquisition managers on upcoming creative content, and/or brainstorm and design new ad concepts to test.

Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset, a refined sense of aesthetic, and an ability to craft a range of compelling creative. The right candidate will have worked with established or emerging consumer brands, managed a variety of design projects, and have a natural instinct for capturing the attention of a millennial and a Generation Z audience. The ideal designer is a hands-on, inventive individual with the ability to iterate quickly in a collaborative environment.

This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to a rapidly-growing, mission-driven company.

  • Ownership. You are a self-starter who takes full responsibility for your work and deliverables, thinking holistically about the objectives of the projects you're working on.
  • Detail. You have an expert eye for typography, color and layout.
  • Teamwork: at Albert, the underpinning of our culture is caring. We care about our customers’ financial wellness, we care about the health of our business, and we treat each other with kindness and respect.
