How we LEAD:

The Manager, Creative Administration is the point person for the Universal Music Group roster of writers and producers.

How you'll CREATE:

  • Obtain publishing and split information for UMPG controlled songs from writers and their representatives for ingestion into the UMPG system
  • Liaise with our Copyright, Mechanical Licensing and Film/TV departments to confirm publishing claims
  • Track song deliveries for our roster of writers, as it pertains to their contractual commitment
  • Research and resolve split disputes and counterclaims
  • Work closely with our Business Affairs and A&R teams regarding a range of Creative Administration issues pertaining to our roster of clients
  • Respond to administrative inquiries from our writers, managers and attorneys
  • Direct writers and writer representatives to the proper internal contact for various client service inquires

Bring your VIBE:

  • Three plus years of music publishing administration experience required
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, organizational and follow up skills
  • Must have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to support clients with varying personalities and expectations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player with a positive outlook
  • Must be mindful of privileged information
  • Works well independently
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • College Degree Preferred
