The Learning Experience Designer (LED) will support the enablement efforts of our Go-To-Market (GTM) functions and apply their deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and digital learning tools to develop innovative content, resources, and training that is relevant, actionable, and easily consumed, with a specific focus on software application enablement. The LED will be primarily focused on developing enablement solutions for the various applications used by the GTM organization. The LED's design toolbox includes planning, developing, evaluating, and maintaining training overlays in application, ILT/vILT content, eLearning courses, simulations, mobile learning, graphical assets, and job aids. This individual will have a keen eye for learner experience, with an unyielding attention to detail and design quality, to create learning solutions that are not only engaging and interactive, but also deliver real performance outcomes. This will involve working with a broad set of stakeholders and subject matter experts to prioritize, create, and launch GTM enablement programs.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of enablement for software applications, including but not limited to Salesforce/CPQ, to accelerate time to competency, increase digital adoption, and support digital transformation
  • Lead and perform LMS admin duties including creating forums in which social and informal learning can occur as well as creating content repositories, uploading e-learning content, and managing the reporting process.
  • Lead and execute projects through the design lifecycle, from scoping, research, and needs analysis, to design and content development, through launch and measurement for successful implementation and evaluation
  • Align learning solutions with business objectives by working with GTM Enablement team members, stakeholders, and SMEs to identify performance gaps and best practices, then establish learning objectives
  • Collaborate with other GTM Enablement team members to brainstorm content, activities, and desired learning outcomes
  • Identify and implement the most effective modalities and tools (in-person, on-demand, virtual, gamification, simulations, and blended learning) to support an array of learners, while considering time and geographical constraints, to create programs that drive performance outcomes
  • Write effective copy, instructional text, and audio/video scripts that support the learning objectives and provide drafts quickly to ensure on-time delivery
  • Be the voice of the learner, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of our content efforts and help our team iterate and improve on our content offering
  • Create concise microlearning geared to engage learners and break down concepts into simple learning blocks
  • Develop effective assessments as part of each project lifecycle to evaluate retention of information
  • Keep up to date with current trends in Learning & Development
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on software application enablement solution development, including Salesforce/CPQ, using WalkMe
  • Voracious appetite to solve problems by translating business needs into high-impact learning strategies that enhance people and business performance
  • Project Management Certification
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality products with aggressive development schedules
  • Resourceful with a notable ability to execute with little supervision
  • Adaptable and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change is a must
  • Ability to translate concepts, summarize and communicate complex ideas, and clearly articulate business value
  • Demonstrated history of analyzing, designing and developing engaging eLearning experiences, working with SMEs and team members and thriving in a collaborative environment and being a strong team player
  • Strong level of expertise in eLearning course authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate 360 (Vyond a plus)
  • Experience with publishing and tracking learning objects in a LMS/LXP (Success Factors and/or Docebo experience a plus)
  • Ability to apply Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model plus Philip's ROI Methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales training/enablement experience, preferably in B2B Financial SaaS space
  • ID Certifications
