Altruist is an LA fintech company on a mission to make financial advice fair for everyone. We’re looking to add a Lead Product Designer to help us make beautiful, functional products people love to use. What you’ll do

• Work closely with the VP of Product, Head of Design, and engineers to design a revolutionary new platform for financial advisors and their clients
• Audit our existing beta software and make improvements, evolve our design system, create tight standards, and breathe consistency into our product
• Interpret our brand standards and visualize the Altruist design language into the product
• Analyze and solve complex problems spanning multiple user personas and workflows
• Own the end-to-end design from ideation and research to execution
• Work within defined timelines to prioritize your work for maximum impact
• Iterate quickly through mockups and clickable prototypes that may range in fidelity and functionality

What you’ll need

• 6+ years of experience in designing modern SaaS products across desktop and mobile and across B2B and B2C use cases
• A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates experience with the full range of product, interaction, and visual design
• A love for testing prototypes to ensure a user’s experience is beautiful, simple, and seamless
• Fluency in Figma
• Must be humble, collaborative, have a great positive attitude, and be a joy to work with (egos left at the door)
• Ability to collaborate with product and engineering, combined with an ownership mentality over your work
• Affinity for a fast-paced, early-stage environment
• Local to the LA area or willing to relocate
