We are looking for a Junior Designer to help from our Santa Monica office.

You’ll Report To: Graphic Designer

A typical day as a Junior Designer might include:

•  Designing promotional emails with provided content and hierarchy goals for both Society6 and Deny Designs, our wholesale brand
• Creating social media assets with an extensive library of editorial images
• Design web sliders, banners and other various assets for the society6.com and denydesigns.com websites
•  Designing campaigns and assets for seasonal campaigns and brand collaborations
• Assisting on photoshoots
• Creating or updating postcards for in-person events, tradeshows or gallery cards
• Additional tasks include occasionally working on experiential campaigns/ pop ups

You’ll be successful if you are both detail-focused and big-picture aware, able to bring a fresh perspective while working under the guidance and direction of the Art Director and Graphic Designer.

What You Have:

• 1-3 years relevant work experience
• Fluency in the principles and practices of design composition, typographic hierarchy, illustration, and production
• Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite especially inDesign and Photoshop
• Light photo retouching skills
• An innovative and contemporary design sense
• Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a highly collaborative work environment, taking direction and asking questions to hone your skills and meet our goals
• A great eye for details and commitment to producing the best work possible 
• Must be able to manage multiple projects at once 
• Enthusiasm for contributing to the team 
• A pleasant and supportive demeanor. We're casual and informal but we work hard, and we all work to support each other.
