GoGuardian is looking for a talented graphic designer with an eye for detail, a strong sense of urgency, and endless curiosity to join our marketing team. We’re a close-knit remote team that thrives on collaboration and creates harmony from our individual talents; fostering creative and professional growth.

What You'll Do

• Produce print & digital layouts (one-pagers, long-form content, event swag) and digital (social media, slide deck, email, web) graphics for two distinct visual identities: GoGuardian and Pear Deck
• Produce original illustrations and iterate upon existing for both brands: vector and raster-based
• Meet and talk with creative and marketing team members to understand their vision for projects
• Translate design briefs into realistic plans to fit a project sponsor’s ideas and timeline
• Take (and give) constructive feedback, and revise your work to meet brand specifications
• Pitch your ideas in team brainstorms and strategy meetings to help GoGuardian meet its goals
• Work closely with the rest of the team to bring our initiatives, launches, and events to life (either as a solo project, or smaller pieces of a larger project)
• Learn new tools and technologyHelp convey the joint GoGuardian and Pear Deck mission and vision with empathy, authority, clarity, and delight

Who You Are

• Have a portfolio that showcases both strong digital illustration and layout skills that can be adapted to represent both brands
• Strong layout and composition skills displaying an understanding of typographical hierarchy, use of white space, and creative problem solving
• Expertise in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
• Strategic thinking skills, curiosity, empathy, and eagerness to share ideas
• High sense of urgency and attention to deadlines
• A love and passion for design
• Expertise in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Ability to shift between two distinct brand identities
• Knowledge of Google Suite
