Are you a driven, forward-thinking, digital video expert who has a proven track record of integrating and monetizing video for an established brand? If so, this could be the role for you!

The Creative Strategist will be integral in transforming Evite’s blossoming video business into a mobile-centric revenue driver for the company by aligning our video ad business to macro trends and applying their knowledge of the digital video space to diversify our revenue model. The Creative Strategist will be a critical link between the Video team and Sales team, creating sponsorable opportunities from the constant flow of original video content created in house and finding new turn-key ways to monetize this content. The Creative Strategist is a strategic and enthusiastic solution-driver who puts our customers at the core of everything we do.

You will be joining a energetic and creative Video Development and Production team, who creates a large variety of video content for consumers, advertisers and stakeholders across the business.

The candidate must possess communication skills, critical thinking capabilities, and be a cultural fit. Our ideal candidate should have strong communication that allows them to translate complex findings to all stakeholders. This individual should be driven by an inquisitive curiosity to learn and can pick up new knowledge and skills independently. Core Capabilities:

  • You’ve turned your video ideas into gold… literally – You have demonstrated the ability to successfully pitch and sell through branded video content to advertising clients as an integral part of the overall media spend.
  • You see story in everything - You’re a born storyteller. You have a story to tell and you know how to wow your audience. You also innately understand that storytelling is not only the key to creating great video content but also in delivering memorable sales pitches that produce real results (and revenue).
  • You’re a trend prophet, but grounded in data – Over the years you’ve been able to innately recognize trends and patterns in the video/social industry before they’ve happened and have a proven track record of using internal and outside market data to capitalize on those instincts and visions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with internal and external teams to create, develop, pitch and execute compelling custom branded video content series for advertisers that demonstrate a deep understanding of the brand partners’ objectives while complementing Evite’s brand.
  • Develop campaign budget model which includes flighting, production costs, promotional media, and influencer costs to ensure fiscal compliance, revenue maximization and value optimization for clients.
  • Identify new content package ideas by staying on top of competitors’ and media outlets’ branded campaigns.
  • Oversee custom branded video content process and collaborate and communicate with clients/brands to ensure expectations are met.
  • Provide analysis and reporting on key metrics to understand sponsored campaign performance and trends and make recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 4-5 Years of Experience in a related integrated marketing/branded video content role at media, agency or brand environment.
  • Passionate about and experienced in digital storytelling, and a deep knowledge of the digital landscape is a must.
  • A thoughtful appreciation and understanding of the role branded video content is able to play in an online invitation distribution platform; user-first, customer obsessed mentality.
  • You possess growth mindset. You thrive in environments that contain an equal mix of opportunity and uncertainty and relish in the challenge of learning new skills on the job to adapt to an ever changing video landscape.
  • You have a proven track record of driving consistent streams of revenue, high client retention, and being known in the industry as a trusted partner to your clients.
  • You have a deep understanding and ability to determine and shape client goals through data analysis, understanding of media buying cycles, market trends, target demographics etc.
  • You must be extremely organized, able to juggle many projects at once, and able to work deftly with both creative and business-minded personalities.
  • The ideal candidate is positive, ambitious and a team player.
  • Off-platform distribution strategies including experience with paid and unpaid social media is a big plus.
