About the role

We’re looking for a creative director to lead Albert's expanding marketing efforts, including advertising, content marketing, and brand building. You will be responsible for honing Albert's brand and ensuring that it is consistently reflected in our creative across channels and campaigns.

Success in this role requires strong creative vision, a refined sense of aesthetic, and a strong foundation in graphic design. The right candidate will have worked with established or emerging consumer brands, a track record of leading effective and memorable creative campaigns, and a natural instinct for engaging a millennial and zillennial audience.

  • Range. You are attuned to the sensitivities of how to convey a consistent, compelling brand story through various channels, campaigns, and user experiences. equally comfortable illustrating, producing a video ad, and developing static creative for a social media post.
  • Detail. You have an expert eye for typography, color, layout, and copywriting.
  • Storytelling. You have a talent for creative vision and an intuitive sense for visual storytelling that's engaging and relatable for a digitally native audience.
  • Organization. You are detail-oriented and structured, taking a systematic approach to your work.
  • Communication. You excel at articulating your creative vision clearly and making a convincing argument for it. You also seek out feedback on a regular basis and keep the lines of communication open.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the creative strategies that will make Albert a leading national brand based on a detailed understanding of the company's mission, customers, and the fundamental trends shaping consumer sentiments in Fintech.
  • Lead the marketing creative team while also contributing individually to projects.
  • Ensure consistency in creative and copy with the company’s brand and design direction.
  • Follow and improve on frameworks and documentation to hone our creative processes and raise our standards.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to create the highest quality marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, from concepts to deliverables.

Requirements

  • A portfolio showcasing your creative direction, process, and your proficiency in delivering compelling creative.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other relevant design tools.
  • 3+ years of work experience as a creative director, in-house preferred.
  • Bachelor’s in graphic design, or similar field.
