That's where you come in.

As an Associate Creative Lead on the North American Regional team, you’ll concept campaign platforms for all of Riot’s North American events and publishing strategies. Your skills in either Copywriting or Art Direction will help level up League’s Advertisements, and help connect North American Players to current league happenings.

You'll share a campus with the Central office that serves the whole world, but as a Rioter for the North American region, you'll have a laser focus on leveling up the experience for players in Canada and the United States.

You are:

  • Conceptual thinker: you’re able to come up with creative concepts that meet publishing goals. As well as filter, judge, and edit ideas missing the mark on audience resonance.
  • A creative spark plug: You are able to ideate across a variety of mediums and then help find the right creative partner to bring that vision to life.
  • A creator: you’re adept at understanding the brief to craft breakthrough ideas that speak to the gaming and League of Legends community.
  • Player-Focused: You're highly empathetic and can put yourself in the mind of a lifelong gamer who’s real passion for games and fandom is a lifestyle choice. You’ve worked in gaming, entertainment or sports and this helps you stay focused on initiatives that make the difference to the players in and out of the game.
  • Experienced: You have 5 years of Copywriting or Art Direction under your belt at either an advertising agency, entertainment, or traditional sports companies. You know what good looks like with Ads, and can name your favorites of the past few years.

You will:

  • Present well-thought-out creative concepts, and carry those concepts through production into delivery.
  • Create concepts for advertising that generate attention, conversation and action. Create the look/feel of an advertising campaign that you know players will connect with.
  • Help with outside vendor selection for work that goes into campaign production.
  • Collaborate with the creative lead, and run with the creative brief developed by Riot’s team of brand managers.
  • Copywriting or Art Direction- Depending on your skills work with the team as either an Advertising Art Director OR a Copywriter. That means work with designers, video editors, and product makers to ensure stylistic visual quality throughout production or help us write copy that is clever, simple and effective. In general, help us grow league!
