The Architect will provide leadership, oversight, and support on a wide range of commercial and government facilities projects. 

Responsibilities: 

• Under the direction of and in collaboration with the Chief Creative Officer, provide architectural leadership and oversight for a wide range of commercial and government facilities design projects.
• Lead innovative architectural design efforts that involve the incorporation of new media and technologies in architectural installations.
• Work closely with clients toward successful project delivery and play a key role in developing ongoing relationships and future projects with existing client base
• Partner with the lead Creative Designer and the Creative Resource Manager to ensure exceptional project completion, on time and on budget
• Lead and develop the architectural design staff to produce drawings, images and other documents in support of a wide variety of design and engineering projects
• Advise on building code and construction technique
• Support the business development process to ensure the effective presentation of story, ideas and capabilities.
• Sign IDP hours for architectural designers working towards licensure
• Act as liason with members of external teams within vendor and/or customer organizations
• Advise on building code and construction technique
• All other duties as assigned


Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 8 years of related architecture experience
• Experience in a multidisciplinary design firm environment
• Must be a licensed Architect in California
• Involvement designing LEED facilities
• Proven ability to articulate big ideas and effectively achieve desired creative outcomes.
• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and 3DS Max preferred
• Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD Architecture highly desired
• Experience designing commercial office environments, lab spaces, or spaces with advanced Audio/Visual technologies preferred
• Strong understanding of construction techniques and building codes
• Experience with construction cost estimating desired
