ConsumerTrack is seeking a Statistician / Mathematician with digital marketing experience to analyze large amounts of raw information to find patterns and build models that will allow for machine learning to drive additional automation and improved performance. We will rely on you to build data products to extract valuable business insights.

In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research.

Your goal will be to help our company analyze trends to make better decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create mathematical models that apply mathematical theories and statistical methods to solve practical problems and impact tangible results such as revenue and profit.
  • Design machine learning, heuristic frameworks, statistical models, and inference algorithms
  • Develop visualizations and tools for understanding data and optimization
  • Optimize and tune algorithms for running in the cloud
  • Work with the Sales, Media, and Campaign Operations team by applying mathematical modeling and computational methods to solve business problems such as yield and profit maximization.
  • Analyze customer and campaign data to identify patterns and business drivers, create deep learning to assign categories and classifications for this data.
  • Work with Data engineering and data analytics to process large amounts of data for statistical modeling and analysis of metrics
  • Exploit new data sources and vet new solutions to integrate AI/machine learning to perform the modeling/simulation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Bachelors in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Financial Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Statistical modeling and analysis, analytical consulting
  • 1-3 years of experience in applying employing machine learning to solve real-world problems with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, pyTorch, or equivalent
  • Programming experience preferably in Python and packages such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc.
  • Hands-on experience working with databases including familiarity with SQL
  • R programming experience is a plus, SAS or similar stats programming packages
  • Excellent analytical problem solving skill, good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

Located in the South Bay, very close to Manhattan Beach! There are plenty of restaurants and parks here. We are very close to Downtown El Segundo.
