We have an immediate need to add a Salesforce Sr. Admin / Business Analyst to our Technology Operations team. This role will work on a Salesforce agile team, reporting to the Salesforce Solution Architect.
Currently our Salesforce org utilizes Sales Cloud and integrates with multiple 3rd party vendors. We're always looking to utilize the latest features and improve our overall user experience. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities based on the needs of the day. This can include recommending solutions for complex business problems, building advanced declarative build, testing teammate's work, deployment activities, analyzing data and creating reports/dashboards. This individual will need to own solutions end-to-end as well as provide guidance to others on more complex issues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy solutions in a Lightning environment
  • Interact directly with Salesforce Product Owners to review requirements
  • Configure declarative solutions such as Flow, Approval Processes, and Validation Rules
  • Document current processes and work on future state design documentation
  • QA items and manage UAT processes when needed
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and provide bug fixes
  • Assist with administrative work including data analysis/cleansing and user support
  • Integrate with a dynamic team working to enhance operational procedures in an Agile approach
  • Work on 3rd party systems such as Marketo and Slack integrations that enhance overall Salesforce capabilities and user experience
  • Troubleshoot, triage and fix issues as they come up


WHO YOU ARE:

  • Five years of experience as a Salesforce system administrator, manager or consultant
  • Can work autonomously to deliver solutions and proactively identify improvements
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Strong data management skills along with experience such as Salesforce Data Loader / Jitterbit / other
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, and capable of building custom apps and objects, complex formula fields, Flows, and other content of advanced complexity
  • People skills needed to help others use technology in the best possible way
  • Driven to create innovative solutions and build something that people love to use
  • Strong data management skills along with experience such as Salesforce Data Loader
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment (w/Jira) preferred
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Prior [Scrum] management experience could be beneficial but this is not a management role
  • Preferred Salesforce Certifications: App Builder, Admin, Advanced Admin
  • Nice to have experience with the following: Jira, DevOp tools, RingLead, Marketo, DocuSign CLM, Ad tech industry

Our Compensation and Benefits (for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)
At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$65,900 -$120,800
In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
