About the Role

Fashion Nova is on the hunt for an amazing Senior Procurement Analyst. This role will be responsible for sourcing and procurement activities. This Procurement role will assist business units with spend management expertise and discipline to ensure efficiency and financial control.  This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing and procurement management strategies for assigned categories and provide guidance and expertise on the development and implementation of procurement initiatives; additionally, this role will be responsible for advising senior management on category alignment and identifying strategic opportunities to drive value across the enterprise.

Additionally, this role will be expected to develop and implement ongoing process improvement strategies and effectively negotiate complex contracts and long-term procurement agreements. 

Responsibilities:

• Directly support and manage a portfolio of categories and supplier relationships which are complex and difficult to manage
• Align project goals, stakeholder and supplier relationships
• Manage and help select providers to set strategy and direction
• Demonstrate sound technical and commercial understanding of categories; stay abreast and informed of industry trends, tools, and best practices to make recommendations when appropriate
• Develop and propose key performance indicators and metrics to analyze supplier total cost and cost savings to the organization.
• Adopt and lead Sourcing and Procurement Management as a structured process creating and leading cross-functional project/program teams.
• Datamined, analyze and summarize data into PowerPoint presentations
• Source and combine dataset from multiple sources to uncover patterns and other valuable information enabling insightful decision making
• Develop strong working relationships with business units through active listening, diplomacy, and problem-solving to gain a position of influence as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
• Provide insight and best practices to the procurement team as needed for contract negotiations strategies, sourcing strategies, supplier management, stakeholder management, risk management, problem-solving and resolution and change management.
• Personally and proactively manage all aspects of implementation including entry and exit of suppliers and ensuing complex change management issues.
• Review and approve initiatives/project plans, strategies, goals, objectives, and deliverables. Review and approve sourcing processes, supplier selection, strategies for contract negotiations, contract documents and implementation plans.
• Develop, lead and implement ongoing process improvement strategies to streamline sourcing and procurement processes to ensure that the direction of strategic sourcing initiatives is aligned with organizational business plans and performance objectives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of short/long term strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories but also support other sub-categories as needed (duties may be assigned and/or changed based on the requirements of the business partners).
• This position is a highly visible, individual contributor role under the Head of Procurement

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, buying, finance, project management or accounting.
• Experience in employing structured strategic procurement methodology
• Must be an excel guru i.e. v-look up, pivot table, formula driven
• Experience with and demonstrated an ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for major purchases including business case analysis and present a distillation of results of such analysis to senior management
• Experience in managing large and complex spend-categories.
• Experience and demonstrated ability to critically evaluate legal contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
