The Risk Analytics Manger is responsible for managing risk strategies, conducting profitability and performance analysis, and developing test and control strategies. This role requires an individual who is highly analytical, creative, and intellectually curious.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation and continuous change to improve both the effectiveness and the scalability of the Company’s credit underwriting, fraud and collections efforts by identifying and implementing procedural, technological, and data-driven solutions.
  • Use advanced analytics and predictive modeling techniques to independently develop and maintain risk strategies and loss forecasts.
  • Establish and maintain effective performance tracking to ensure strategies and/or forecasts are performing as expected. Apply key learnings to update strategies/loss forecasts in a timely manner.
  • Design and implement comprehensive tests and evaluate financial impact from various treatments to drive enhancements.
  • Producing monthly credit risk dashboard and create new dashboards to track and monitor strategy related changes. Provide detailed insights to business partners.
  • Evaluate new data sources that can improve decision making for risk management.
  • Work with product and engineering to support new product launch or build new business capabilities. This includes new automation capabilities, risk management ecosystem, etc.
  • Coordinate among various partners across multiple business functions to ensure the successful delivery.
  • Present recommendations to senior management. 

Experience & Skills:                     

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline.  Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience working in consumer or small business lending risk management.
  • Demonstrated success in dissecting problems, developing ideas, and getting results while building sustainable approach and processes keep work going after project closure.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
  • High level of proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Excel and/or other statistical/data analytics tools such as SAS
  • Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
