Factual is seeking a Privacy Program Analyst. You will be proactive, self-directed and have experience working on process improvements, systems thinking, and/or regulatory and compliance requirements in the technology space, as well as strong interpersonal and project-management skills. This is a full-time position that will be based in Los Angeles, CA. This role has significant opportunity for growth in responsibility over time. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an audit program of Factual’s data suppliers for compliance with standard contractual obligations
  • Assist privacy team with completion of customer and partner RFIs and data security questionnaires, including maintaining a company-wide toolkit of standard responses
  • Work with our privacy team to identify regulatory requirements applicable to the privacy review process and help communicate those requirements internally
  • Serve as maintainer of document library and internal site containing privacy program information, including policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of work experience in technology, privacy, politics, legal, or a related field
  • Experience writing RFI and RFPs
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in and influencing diverse stakeholders in cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, content strategists, lawyers
  • BA/BS degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in privacy or technology compliance or a related field
  • IAPP Certifications, such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, etc (if you don’t have these, we will help you get them)
